It is natural to have wear and tear of furniture after many years of use. We encourage you to enjoy your furniture as it turns vintage over time. The timely and right care of each piece of furniture can increase it’s freshness for years to come. We recommend you follow the guidelines below to ensure well maintenance and extended life of the furniture. First of all, know about the general care of your furniture:
- Regularly dust your furniture with a lint-free cloth
- Food stains and spills should be wiped or blotted with a dry cloth
- Do not use any abrasives or harsh chemicals
- Moisturize the wood with beeswax once a year, to maintain the finish
- Contact the workshop immediately in case of stain, scratches, chipping, or suffers other damages
- Always place your furniture on a level surface to ensure that the doors open smoothly
- Avoid direct sunlight as it can cause fading or darkening of the wood
- Prolonged use of hot electrical equipment, such as a laptop may cause scorching
- Items that are assembled on-site from multiple sections should be dismantled before relocation to a new position
- Self-Assembly items should be assembled at the intended location and lifted carefully into position
How to take care of your wooden furniture?
- Regularly wipe with a lint-free cloth to keep the furniture clean
- Food spills must be wiped up immediately for maximum removal and staining prevention
- Exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading or darkening of the wood
- Use 'felt backing' to prevent scratches
- Using placemats, hot pads, coasters under the plates while serving dishes and beverages can prevent stains and other damages
- The ink from newspapers and magazines tend to bleed into the finish and damage the wood
- Avoid subjecting the furniture to any abrasives or harsh chemicals
- Apply beeswax on solid wood once a year to help maintain the finish and moisture of the wood
- All woods will expand| contract movement from season to season due to changes in climate
- Each piece of wood will have a slightly different grain pattern and colour variation. It may occur between different products or within the same product

- Periodic cleaning of the entire furniture is mandatory to maintain the freshness and prevent premature fading and wear
- Rotate cushions and pillows regularly to allow even distribution of wear
- Keep upholstered furniture out of direct sunlight
- 3% shrinkage is likely to happen after the first wash or dry clean
- Regular vacuuming of the fabric to remove everyday household dust and dirt
- Spills should be removed immediately. Blot liquid spills with a clean, dry, cloth by working towards the center of the spill
- Do not rub or use abrasive cleaners as this may damage the furniture

- Always apply specialist cleaning care products as directed on the container and first patch test on a hidden area of your sofa

- Periodic cleaning of the metal furniture is mandatory to maintain the freshness
- Always start with a light cleaning, sweeping surfaces as needed with a soft brush or cloth. Then assess if more care and cleaning is needed
- Metal furniture is best cleaned with a cloth or sponge using water and mild, non-detergent soap and wiped dry
- Resist the urge to protect your treated metal furniture with a plastic tablecloth. It can trap water, humidity, and heat that can damage the finish
- Spills should be cleaned off as soon as possible. They can be particularly damaging and lead to permanent staining and corrosion
