What happens in Kochi Biennale?

The Kochi-Muziris Biennale this year is titled "In Our Veins Flow Ink and Fire", curated by Singapore-based artist Shubigi Rao. The exhibition features around 200 major artworks by 90 artists from different countries, which will be on display across 14 venues in Fort Kochi, Mattancherry and Ernakulam until April 10, 2023.

In addition to the main exhibition, the Biennale also has a variety of engaging events available such as thought-provoking discussions, educational seminars, films, musical performances, hands-on workshops and programs for school children and students.

How much does Biennale cost?

To enter the Biennale, adults are charged ₹150, senior citizens ₹100 and children ₹50. A ticket that is valid for an entire week can be purchased for ₹1,000 and a ticket that is valid for a whole month costs ₹4,000.
